San Jose City College and Milpitas Extension – Phase 2 – Building and Security Upgrades

The Project entails conversion of wireless Schlage AD-400 locksets on the district’s Milpitas Extension campus to Schlage AD-300 hardwired electrified, and programming to be integrated into the District’s Honeywell Pro-Watch 5.0 Integrated Security Suite. Adjustment of door opening pressure to be ADA compliant, and installation of GSM communication equipment to existing Honeywell intrusion Alarm panel. On the District’s SJCC campus, the contractor will upgrade existing Honeywell access control and intrusion alarm panels, and install GSM communication equipment for the intrusion alarm panel using low voltage & electrical contractors. Contractor must coordinate its work with a scheduled power shut-down, as well as ongoing day-to-day operations of an active school site.
